Garbage
Collection and Recycling
 Wisconsin
law requires recycling. All garbage collection is done in one day (Monday),
except following Monday holidays, then Tuesday.
Collectors start at the intersection of Spring Grove Road and County A at 7:00
a.m. and work around the lake in a clockwise direction.

Garbage
must be placed in plastic bags to be picked up.

Bags
containing recyclables will not be picked up.

Absolutely
no yard waste in garbage.
Recycling
can be contracted through Superior Services (800-387-0949) or dropped off at

Sewer

Permit
for sewer connection must be obtained from the Sanitary District and
properly filled out at the time of connection/capping, inspection fee of
$25.00.

Lateral
permits are required for new and razed buildings.

Sewer
user fee is billed quarterly.
Non-Sewered
Management
Plan is in place for servicing on-site systems:
On-site
and sewer systems rely on biological activities. Products that are detrimental
(e.g., paints, chemicals, etc.) should not be put into your system.
All
wastewater pumped from on-site systems must be hauled and processed at the Green
Lake Sanitary District’s Wastewater Treatment
Plant located at N5295 County Hwy T, Princeton.

Harvesting
Policy:

Weeds
will not be harvested in front of your property unless the property owner
specifically requests cutting.

Keep
in mind that fertilizers on your lawn end up causing increased plant growth
in the lake.

system (septic tank, holding tank, et cetera.). Two programs available are listed
below, qualifications based on property owner situation (i.e., annual income, et
cetera).
