The Racing S-10 was donated to the Clintonville Beat the Heat chapter by Dick Fletcher. The 350 cubic inch "roller motor" that was original equipment in the Racing Squad was installed into the Racing S-10.

This vehicle is driven, in high school competition, by the student members of Clintonville Beat the Heat. The performance is typically in the high 13-second to mid 14-second range. Successful high school competition requires consistency, not speed. The Racing S-10 has been very reliable.

The truck was given a facelift in 2001 by Dick Fletcher, Bryan Seehafer, and Tom Wege. Paint was courtesy of Young's Auto Body, Bear Creek.
