"Regal" is a beautiful buttermilk dun colt. Dripping in dun factor. Out of Sonnys Samanntha who is the daughter of Sonny Supermann, a 1978 dun with 53 halter points. Sonnys Samanntha's dam, Zims Jo, a 1976 bay mare with three halter points and eight performance points. Sonnys Samanntha is the dam of Sonnys Chance Joaker, our grullo stallion. Sire is Zippos Gold Card (shown below). This same combination produced a 2001, 2002 & 2003 buttermilk dun fillies. His DNA results have been completed. He is CR/cr = has one Cream gene. Therefore, he may produce a high percentage of buttermilk duns and palominos as a stallion.
UPDATE: IBHA Show: 9/16-17, Received 6 dun factor points and Grand Champion Stallion in Halter in the grand and reserve class for stallions his first time out showing. He received first place out of 7 in Dun Factor on Saturday and two 2nds out of 9 horses!
5/12/2007 - "Regal" tied for first out of 15 horses in yearling longe line and received four points!
