HOW TO ORDER
It is very easy to order a cart from us. Below are answers to some of the most commonly asked questions that we get. As always we will be very happy to answer any questions you may have regarding the carts that we build.
WHAT MEASUREMENTS DO YOU NEED
In order to fit your particular horse properly and suite your driving style we need a couple of simple measurements.
First is the height on your horse, either in inches or in hands. This measurement is normally taken at the withers.
Also we need to know the length of your horse from chest to butt.
Finally we need to know how wide your horse is at the tugs (shaft hangers).
If you have a cart that fits your horse you can measure the height measured from the ground to the bottom of the shafts at the tugs.
Also the length and width of the shafts of a cart that you normally drive are useful.
Another question that may require some thought is whether you want your horse hitched “short” or “long”.
Hitching long or short does many different things depending on what you are trying to accomplish with your vehicle.
Simplified short gives you more maneuverability but sacrifices ride quality and accentuates the vehicle and total
turnout while showing. Long tends to accentuate the horse and minimize the cart and gives you a smoother ride
and is easier on the horse but sacrifices maneuverability. People who do a lot of pleasure driving or long distance
driving or competitive distance driving like the carts set up long. Combined drivers, scurry, cones or other speed
driving benefits from the shortest possible turnout.

HOW TO ORDER
Once you have decided what cart you want and what options, if any, you would like on it, just give us a call or E-mail us with your order. We will be very happy to answer any questions you may have and help you customize your cart.HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE
Because all carts are built to order, and we are a small custom shop, delivery is very dependent on the time of year and how busy we are. Normally we try to fill all orders within 14 days from the time the order is placed. However in the Spring, when everyone want to get out and enjoy the nice weather, delivery times may be slightly longer. Occasionally we have “stock” carts built and on hand. Options can be added to these carts to speed delivery.
DELIVERY
We can deliver your cart to you for a reasonable fee. This can be particularly cost effective if you order several carts, possibly with friends, and have them all delivered at once. Please ask about this service ahead of time as scheduling can get interesting during the busy times of the year.
SHIPPING
Most of our carts are shipped via UPS. The will be carefully packaged in heavy duty Cardboard boxes. Tracking numbers can be provided and you can watch your order travel across country on the UPS web site. Another option, if you live closer, is to pick your cart up fully or partially assembled. Many customers come to pick up their carts at our farm.
ASSEMBLY
All shipped Carts do require assembly. A very complete, very detailed, professionally written assembly instruction booklet is provided to assist you in putting your cart together in the least amount of time possible. Most of our customers assemble their cart in less than an hour, after it has been unpacked. Assembly time may vary depending on options ordered with the cart.
PAYMENT
At time of order we require a 50% nonrefundable down payment before the cart will be put on the schedule. The balance, including all shipping cost, are due before the cart will be shipped. In fairness to all our customers all Carts are built on a strictly “first ordered, first built” basis.
We accept checks, Money Orders, or Cashiers checks as payment. (Cash works also!) At this time we are not set up to accept credit cards. We also are set up for on-line payments through PAYPAL for cash transfers only.
PRIVACY NOTICE
We do not at any time for any reason share our customer information with anyone for any reason!
We do not sell or distribute or use our customer list for any reason other than directly related to the carts you have on order.
If you receive unsolicited E-Mails with offers for product other than what are represented in
this web site it probably is bogus and someone is using our good name to scam you. Any request for Credit infomation attached to our E-mails or using our name are also bogus, we do not do credit cards!
If there are any questions
