COUNTRY GIG
Shown above is a Country Gig
with steel show shafts and steel wheels
The Country Gig is a competition proven cart built specifically for the exacting requirements
of the Combined Driving Enthusiast. While pretty enough for the Presentation Phase its unique
design really shines in the Marathon and Cones. With its strong rectangular steel frame and
automotive type leaf suspension this cart is rugged enough to withstand the tortures of high
level competition or everyday use.
This cart has also proven to be a excellent choice for the competitive distance driver.
With its excellent ballance and pulling characteristics it is a very comfortable vehicle for
both the driver and the horse over long distances. The pleasure driver will find this cart well
suited to their needs also.

EAST WILLISTON CART
Shown above is a Reproduction East Williston Cart
This vehicle is a reproduction of an original East Williston Cart dating from the mid 1800's
that I have in my collection. This copy has been "modernized" with a slightly wider seat and
flush hub wheels with roller bearings wheels. All the woodwork is Tiger Red Oak and is all custom
milled to keep the weight of the vehicle at a minimum. Ironwork is all hand forged to replicate the
original whenever possible. It has full eliptical springs and flexishaft suspension.
At the customers request it was stained a Mahogany Red with dark Blue Wallendorf leather upholstery.
It is a very smooth riding comfortable cart.

RICKSHAW

Shown above is a custom built Rickshaw
This Rickshaw style cart was built for use in a resort out west. This cart was built on a very light frame with no suspention in order to keep the weight at a minimum. It features a full cut under frame for ease of entry and a adjustable seat as well as an adjustable axle for fine tuning the balance point. The full body loop was set up with attachment points to accept a shoulder harness to make it easier for the driver to cary the weight on their shoulders rather than having to hold up the cart only with their hands like a conventional Rickshaw.
